Baby Dies After Shocking BMW Crash in Brownhills

Two-week-old Ciaran Leigh Morris tragically died in hospital after a BMW smashed into his pram on Brownhills High Street this Easter Sunday.

Driver Charged with Multiple Offences

James Paul Davis, 34, from Walsall, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving while uninsured, failing to stop, and failure to report the collision.

BMW Abandoned, Suspect Arrested

The BMW was left abandoned at the scene. Davis later contacted police and was arrested. Authorities are probing the tragic crash and want to hear from anyone with dash cam footage.

Police Appeal for Information

Sergeant Mark Crozier from the serious collision investigation unit said:

“We are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading to the tragic death of Ciaran and have specialist officers supporting his grieving family. We ask the public to respect their privacy and avoid speculation that could add to their pain.”
