Brian Sengendo in Court Over Deadly Attack
A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a woman’s body in Enfield. Brian Sengendo, 42, of Gilbert Street EN3, appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 8 August. He faces charges including murder, attempted murder, making threats to kill, and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon.
Victim Found Dead in Burnt Farm Ride
Police were called shortly before 7am on Thursday, 6 August, to a wooded area in Burnt Farm Ride, Enfield, after a woman was found unresponsive. Emergency services confirmed the female victim was dead at the scene.
Victim Named and Investigation Continues
The woman has been identified as 44-year-old Therasia Gordon from Edmonton. A post-mortem examination is underway at Haringey Mortuary to determine the exact cause of death.
Additional Charges Linked to Two Other Women
The attempted murder and threats to kill charges relate to two other female victims connected to the case. Sengendo has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 11 August.
