Olivia was fatally shot in the chest at her Dovecot, Liverpool home. The tragedy erupted when a gunman chased another man inside.
Man Charged With Murder
Thomas Cashman, 34, from West Derby, has been charged with Olivia’s murder. He is set to appear in court again next year.
Police Investigate Accomplices
Merseyside Police arrested a man on Friday suspected of assisting the offender. Another man, Paul Russell, 40, also from West Derby, faces similar charges.
Others detained during the investigation have been released on police bail as inquiries continue.
Family Left Devastated
Olivia’s mother, Cheryl Korbel, 46, was hurt during the violent incident on August 22. The gunman had pursued convicted burglar Joseph Nee into their home.
Olivia’s funeral took place on September 15 at St Margaret Mary’s Church, just streets from where she was killed, drawing a packed crowd paying their respects.
