Man Charged with Murder After Woman’s Fatal Head Injury
Police were called to a home in Laud Close around 4.30pm last Friday (30/4) following the tragic death of 34-year-old Beth Aspey. A post-mortem yesterday (2/5) revealed she died from a blunt force head injury.
Ben Shand Held Over Fatal Attack
Today (3/5), 45-year-old Ben Shand from Crescent Road, Reading, was charged with one count of murder. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (4/5).
