Teen Charged with Murder of 19-Year-Old in Hornsey Rise Gardens Shooting
Jaden McGibbon Held Over Taylor Cox’s Death
Jaden McGibbon, 19, of Warltersville Road, N19, was charged on Sunday, 13 June with the murder of fellow 19-year-old Taylor Cox. McGibbon is set to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 14 June.
Police Probe Shooting Incident
Officers were called at 4:24pm on Tuesday, 8 June following reports of gunshots in Hornsey Rise Gardens, N19. The investigation into the fatal shooting remains ongoing as police piece together what happened.

Separate Weapon Charge Unrelated to Murder
A different 19-year-old man appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on 10 June charged with possession of an offensive weapon. Police confirm this is not connected to Cox’s killing.
