Tragedy struck early Wednesday in Chelmsford as police discovered a woman dead inside a Rothmans Avenue home.
Woman Found Dead in Chelmsford Home
Officers were called to Rothmans Avenue just before 5:10am on 26 April. Inside the property, they found a woman in her 30s unresponsive. Paramedics tried desperately to save her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Man Charged With Murder
Investigators have charged 38-year-old Mark Donovan, also of Rothmans Avenue, with murder. He is set to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Friday 28 April. Police have yet to release the identity of the victim.
