Woman Found Dead in Colchester as Man Charged with Murder
A woman in her 20s was discovered unresponsive at a Laing Road home around 5:35am on Sunday, 17 January. Sadly, paramedics failed to save her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Man Arrested and Charged
Adam Butt, 21, from Laing Road, Colchester, was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has now been formally charged and is set to appear at Colchester Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, 19 January).
Police Appeal for Information
Officers say they are not releasing further details about the victim and are not seeking anyone else in connection with the case.
