He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 3 January 2024. The four other men have been released without charge.
Police Appeal for Responsible Public Conduct
Detective Inspector Mark Jenkins said: “Our thoughts remain very much with Daniel’s family at this extremely difficult time. We have carried out extensive enquiries and worked closely with the Crown Prosecution Service, which has authorised a murder charge against Joe Michael Williams.”
“As this case is now before the courts, it would be inappropriate to comment further. We urge everyone to avoid sharing or commenting on information online that could jeopardise the justice process.”
