Bruna Fonseca, 28, was found dead on Sunday morning in an apartment on Liberty Street, right in the heart of the city centre.
Suspect in Custody After Court Appearance
The following day, 29-year-old Miller Pacheco appeared in a special district court. Judge John King remanded him in custody. Pacheco is set to return to court next week for a further hearing.
Victim Just Settled Into New Life in Ireland
Ms Fonseca had recently moved to the Republic of Ireland last autumn. She worked as a cleaner at Mercy University Hospital, where colleagues described her as diligent and hardworking.
