Man Charged with Double Murder in Whitton Stabbing
A 31-year-old man has been charged with murdering two people in Whitton. Mustafa Arezo, from Redfern Avenue, faces two counts of murder after a deadly stabbing.
Fatal Stabbing Shocks Quiet Whitton Neighbourhood
Police were called to Redfern Avenue at around 9.40am on Friday, 12 July, following reports of a serious incident. Officers discovered Akbar Arezo, 64, and Layla Arezo, 74, fatally stabbed inside their home.
Investigation Leads to Arrest
Homicide detectives from the Serious Crime Command swiftly launched an investigation. Mustafa Arezo was charged on Sunday, 14 July, and is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 16 July.
