Predator Carl Adimado Jailed for 4½ Years After Sick Up-Skirting Spree
Serial Offender Caught at Last
Carl Adimado, 34, from Enfield, was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, 4 April, to four years and six months behind bars. He will also serve three and a half years on licence after release.
On top of that, Adimado will be on the sex offender register for life. A strict sexual harm prevention order is in place to keep the public safe.
Shocking Scale of Crimes
Adimado pleaded guilty to a staggering 37 charges, including:
- 22 counts of up-skirting
- 5 counts of sexually assaulting a child
- 4 counts of exposure
- 2 counts of engaging in sexual activity in presence of a child
- 2 counts of sexual assault
- 2 counts of making indecent images of a child
His offences targeted women and schoolgirls in public, leaving victims traumatised.
How Police Nabbed the Monster
The nightmare began in July 2022 when a woman reported being up-skirted in a supermarket. Police uncovered videos showing Adimado exposing himself and assaulting schoolgirls in uniform.
Officers identified the children by their school uniforms. Each victim was interviewed with parents present, ensuring support was in place.
PC 1 Ravens from the Met’s Predatory Offender Unit said: “Carl Adimado is a predatory offender who committed a variety of indecent offences, in high volume, against women and girls. He was clearly not going to stop until caught.”
Call to Action: Speak Up, Stay Safe
“This case clearly shows how vital it is to report offences like these,” said PC Ravens. “One brave woman coming forward helped remove a dangerous predator from the community and protect other vulnerable victims.
I hope this encourages others to report sexual assaults, so we can support victims and keep our streets safe.”
If you’ve been a victim of sexual assault, report it to police. Help us stop predators in their tracks.”
