Drugs and Cash Seized; Dealer Faces Justice
Rehman was charged the same day of his arrest. Along with his prison sentence, he was ordered to forfeit the seized drugs and cash. Detective Constable Alexandra Head from St Aldates police station said:
“Rehman has now been sentenced for these offences and will serve time in jail as a result. I hope this sentence shows the seriousness with which drug dealing and carrying a knife is taken. Our team works tirelessly to bring offenders to justice and take these drugs off our streets.”
She urged local residents to report drug activity via 101 or online to help keep Oxford’s streets safe.
