Early morning raid! Police swooped on Victoria Drive at 4.50am on 3 November after a man was spotted breaking into a home.

Break-in Blunder

Officers quickly arrested Paul Tully, 37, from Ash Grove, Bognor Regis. A smashed window pane near the front door gave him away. He now faces charges of burglary with intent to steal and criminal damage.

Fraud Twist

Tully’s troubles didn’t stop there. He was also charged with fraud by misrepresentation after using someone else’s bank card at a supermarket.

Guilty Plea and Court Date

Tully pleaded guilty to all offences and is set to be sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on 2 December. The early bird definitely didn’t get the worm this time.
