Police Praise Public for Swift Action
PC William Saunders of the Fortitude Team spoke out:
“Any sighting of a person armed with weapons in broad daylight is alarming and distressing. We thank the public for their quick reporting. Carrying weapons is totally unacceptable, and our priority is to keep Swindon and Wiltshire safe.”
“We’re glad the courts agreed to remand Strowe. If you see anything suspicious, call the police immediately. In an emergency, ring 999.”
