Teacher Carole Ann White Jailed for Sexual Offences
Carole Ann White, 39, was sentenced today at Airdrie Sheriff Court after being found guilty of sexual offences on 28 April 2022.
Predatory Behaviour Exposed
Detective Inspector David Lamont slammed White’s actions, saying, “Carole Ann White is now facing the consequences of her predatory behaviour.” At the time, she was a trusted teacher, abusing her position to commit these crimes.
Victims Show Courage, Police Vow Justice
Her victims showed remarkable courage in bringing her to justice. Detective Lamont added, “I hope this sentence brings closure to her victims and sends a clear message that Police Scotland will thoroughly investigate all reports of sexual abuse.
He stressed the police remain dedicated to supporting victims, working closely with partner organisations. “Sexual abuse of any kind has no place, and anyone with concerns should always contact the police.”
