Predator Sentenced to 15 Years for Horrific Sex Crimes
Simba Masvaure, 44, was handed a hefty 15-year prison sentence on Friday, August 13, at Northampton Crown Court. The Milton Keynes man was found guilty of 11 sexual offences, including sexual assault by penetration, attempted rape, and sexual activity with a child.
Justice Served After Lengthy Trial
Masvaure, from Kingsfold, Bradville, was also slapped with a two-year extended licence upon release. The judge imposed an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and a restraining order to keep him away from his victims.
Det. Constable Kirstie Brooks, from Northamptonshire Police’s Child Protection Team, slammed Masvaure’s vile crimes. She said: “His offending was nothing short of evil as he abused and manipulated his victims for years, causing them to live in fear and stealing the innocence of childhood from them forever.”
Victims Show Bravery Amid Horrors
Brooks praised the victims’ courage during the brutal 10-day trial, where Masvaure desperately tried to deny everything. “The jury saw through his repeated lies and rightly convicted him,” she added.
She continued: “His victims have shown fortitude and strength beyond their years. Their bravery in speaking out and giving evidence is boundless. This sentence should bring them some closure and justice.”
Police Urge Victims to Come Forward
Northamptonshire Police vowed to crack down hard on sexual offenders. Det. Constable Brooks urged anyone suffering abuse to report it, saying: “We will listen, support you, and make sure those guilty pay the price.”
