Kent Police were called to a Dartford Road home at 12.06pm on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.
Officers found 43-year-old Robert Williamson from Northfleet dead at the scene.
He suffered injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
Man Arrested Over Fatal Shooting
David Hucker, 69, of Dartford Road, Dartford, was arrested that same afternoon.
The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate has now charged him with murder.
Remanded Ahead of Court Appearance
Hucker has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 13, 2021.
Victim and Suspect Known to Each Other
Police confirm that Hucker and Williamson were known to one another, though no further details have been released.
