Neighbour Charged Over Tragic Flat Fire That Killed Mum and Two Daughters
A chilling blaze in Clifton, Nottingham, has left a family shattered. A neighbour has been charged with the murders of a mother and her two young daughters who died in a flat fire.
Three Dead After Fairisle Close Fire
- One-year-old Naeemah Drammeh and her three-year-old sister Fatimah died in hospital after the fire erupted on Sunday.
- Their 28-year-old mother, Fatoumatta Hydara, was put on life support but tragically died two days later.
Suspect in Custody
Jamie Barrow, 31, who lives on the same street, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today. He confirmed his name but made no further comment. Barrow was remanded in custody ahead of a Crown Court hearing on Monday.
Family and Community in Shock
The girls’ father, Aboubacarr Drammeh, 40, was abroad when the fire broke out. A vigil was held on Thursday, with dozens paying tribute and leaving heartfelt messages outside the devastated family home.
