Nathan Jones Jailed for Nearly Four Years Over Sick Child Sex Crimes
Nathan Jones, 20, has been locked up for three years and 11 months at Nottingham Crown Court. He was found guilty of seven sexual offences against two victims under 16. Jones has also been slapped with a sexual harm prevention order and will remain on the sex offenders register for life.
Jones Pleads Guilty to Multiple Child Sex Charges
The Mansfield Woodhouse man from Farm Croft Road admitted to:
- Four counts of sexual activity with a child
- Two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
- One count of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child
Shocking Abuse Spanned Months in 2018
The grim offences took place between January and August 2018. Jones deliberately touched and engaged in sexual acts with the two teenage victims. He threatened to post humiliating photos online if they spoke out. This chilling blackmail left the victims terrified.
Victims Brave Enough to Speak Out
Eventually, the victims blocked Jones on social media and reached out to Childline. The charity passed the information to police, leading to Jones’ arrest, trial, and sentencing.
Justice has been served, but the impact on the victims will linger long after Jones’ jail term ends.
