Career Criminal Paul Mcintosh Jailed for Burglary Spree
Paul Mcintosh, 42, no fixed address, has been locked up for three and a half years after a string of thefts across Nottingham in January 2023.
Smash-and-Grab Madness Across Nottingham
- Between 6 and 28 January, Mcintosh hit multiple properties, stealing electrical goods, a bike, and a safe full of cash.
- He also burgled an office on High Pavement, making off with a laptop, Kindle, speaker, and even a harmonica.
- Mcintosh’s crime spree began on 6 January at a Tesco in Carlton Hill, where he tried to walk out with two bottles of whisky, pushing a security guard who tried to stop him.
- On 18 January, CCTV caught him ransacking a Waitrose warehouse and nicking a staff member’s rucksack in Milton Street.
- He impersonated a delivery driver to break into a flat on St Peter’s Gate on 20 January, stealing a safe and bank card.
- The following week, he raided a student flat on North Church Street for more electrical kit.
- He was also caught trying to sell stolen goods from a burglary on City Road, Dunkirk.

Mcintosh’s spree finally ended when Nottingham city centre officers arrested him on 3 February.
“Mcintosh is a prolific offender so I am pleased a judge has locked him up for this crime spree,” said Detective Constable David Thornton of Nottinghamshire Police.
“This case shows the vital role CCTV plays in catching criminals. No one should go home to find their property ransacked.”
