Harold Andrews Arrested After Assaulting Officers
Officers arrested 25-year-old Harold Andrews on suspicion of criminal damage. But the chaos didn’t stop there. Andrews allegedly assaulted two officers during the arrest.
More Mayhem in Custody
While in custody, Andrews reportedly went on a rampage—assaulting a further three officers, damaging a police vehicle and an ambulance. He’s also accused of racially abusing one of the officers.
Charged and Remanded
- Five counts of assaulting emergency workers
- Three counts of criminal damage
- One count of racially aggravated harassment
Andrews, from Meeting Street, Ramsgate, has been charged with all these offences. He was remanded in custody and is set to face Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 22 March 2021.
