A father of three was blasted eight times while he lay in bed at his home in the Ballycraigy estate, Antrim.
Paul Armstrong Faces Multiple Charges
Paul Armstrong, 43, from Hawkswood Terrace, appeared via video link at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court on Monday. He faces charges of shooting and possession of two 9mm handguns and ammunition with intent to endanger life, all dating from 20 October.
Armstrong confirmed he understood the charges but denied any involvement in the attack, according to a detective sergeant.
Investigation Continues as Case Adjourns
Armstrong was remanded in custody with the next court hearing set for 22 November. Police believe there may be links between Armstrong and others connected to the case.
Another Man Also Held
Last Thursday, 44-year-old Jonathan Patterson from Whinburn Close, Antrim, was also remanded in custody on similar charges.
