Wayne Couzens, 48, appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 13 March. Today, he faced the Central Criminal Court via video link. A provisional trial date is set for 25 October, with a pre-trial plea hearing scheduled for Friday, 9 July.
Woman Linked to Case Released on Bail
A woman in her 30s, arrested alongside Couzens on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail. She is due to return to a police station in mid-April. The victim’s family, known as Sarah’s family, have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
