Life Behind Bars and Lifetime Ban for Smith
Smith, from Oakenhall Avenue, Hucknall, was sentenced at nottingham/" title="Nottingham" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Nottingham Crown Court on 8 December to 15 years behind bars. After release, he faces an extra five years on licence. He is banned for life from contacting the victim and placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register permanently.

“Smith is a predatory sex offender who committed some truly appalling offences against this young girl,” said Detective Constable Stuart Dolby of Nottinghamshire Police.
