Dover Man Nabbed Over Illegal Guns and Ammo
Kent Police Make Arrest
On Monday, July 25, 2022, Kent Police swooped on an address on Folkestone Road. They arrested Barney Buttifint, 36, from Lascelles Road, Dover.
Serious Gun Charges
Buttifint now faces two counts of possessing a firearm without a certificate. He’s also charged with having more ammunition than legally allowed.
Court Drama Unfolds
The suspect appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, July 27. He was remanded in custody and is due back at Canterbury Crown Court on August 30.
