Worrying Footpath Assault: Man Charged in Kent
Mark Roberts, 47, of no fixed address, was charged on Wednesday, 2 March 2022. He faces one count of committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence and one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Shocking Attack Near Beaconsfield Road
The charges follow a Kent Police investigation into an incident on Sunday evening, 27 February. A woman was approached and assaulted while walking along a footpath near Beaconsfield Road in the city.
Roberts in Custody, Court Appearance Set
Roberts remains in custody and is due to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 3 March.
