Kent Police sprang into action at 5.50pm on Monday, 13 March 2023, after a woman was robbed of her car in Alfred Square. The victim suffered bruises but luckily didn’t need hospital treatment.
Quick Cops Nab Suspect
After a swift probe by the Kent Crime Squad, Roger Porter, 37, from High Street, Deal, was arrested the very next day. He’s now charged with one count of robbery.
Facing the Music
Porter was remanded to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 15 March.
