Caught on Camera: Police Nab Shoplifting Suspect
Neighbourhood officers quickly reviewed CCTV footage and zeroed in on a suspect. Their investigations paid off when Karl Brazier-Denning, 29, was arrested on foot patrol near the High Street two days later, on 21 December.
Double Trouble: Man Faces Two Shoplifting Charges
Brazier-Denning, who has no fixed address, is now charged with two counts of shoplifting. One relates to the £1,982 cosmetics theft, while the other involves £30-£50 worth of meat stolen from a Broadstairs Co-op back on 29 November.
He is set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 22 December.
