Man Stabbed in Chatham at Dawn
A brutal attack shook Crow Lane in Chatham at 3.10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022. A man in his twenties was viciously assaulted, suffering a wound consistent with a stabbing.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
Paramedics treated the injured man at Blue Boar Lane before rushing him to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, he remains in stable condition following the incident.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
Just days later, on Wednesday, June 8, police arrested 22-year-old Michael Omola from Acres Green Close, Chatham. He now faces charges of intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of a knife in a public place.
Omola was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, June 9.
