Convicted Paedophile’s Cell Mate Dies Days Before Court Hearing
A convicted paedophile’s cell mate tragically died after falling from his bunk just days before the sex offender faced the judge, Swindon Crown Court heard on Monday.
Disturbing Allegations Against Darren Brazier
Darren Brazier, 38, from Swindon, was set to enter pleas over shocking claims. He allegedly breached a sexual harm prevention order by messaging an under-18 between December 2019 and March 2020.
- Sent a masturbatory video to a 14-year-old girl
- Encouraged her to perform a sex act on herself
- Created an indecent pseudo-photograph of a child
History of Disturbing Offences
Brazier has already admitted breaching sexual harm prevention orders and a suspended prison sentence from April last year. He was spared jail last year despite admitting to owning over a million horrific indecent images and videos showing babies and young girls being raped or tortured.
Shockingly, he started amassing this vile collection within five months of being released in 2010 after previously caught with 100,000 indecent images.
Hearing Adjourned After Cell Mate’s Death
Attending court via video link from Winchester Prison, Brazier revealed he has private funding and wants new legal representation. His new lawyer, Nicholas Wragg of Stone King, requested more time for preparation.
Wragg said the recent death of Brazier’s cell mate had a “disturbing effect” on his client. Judge adjourned the case until October 20.
