Warrant Out for Fake SIA Licence Scammer

Bexley Magistrates’ Court has issued a warrant to arrest Razaaq Bankole, 20, from Gilbert Road, Belvedere. He must face charges over using a fake Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence under a false name.

Fake Guard Caught in Croydon

On April 23 and 24 last year, SIA inspectors caught Bankole working at Boxpark in Croydon. He claimed to be ‘O Falaye’ while holding a bogus licence.

Double Fraud and Dodging Court

Bankole is charged with two counts of fraud for dishonestly representing himself to the SIA to gain a security licence that wasn’t his. He skipped his court hearing on January 11 at Bexley Magistrates.

“The presiding chairman DJ Turnock issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to appear,” the court confirmed.

The fake door supervisor now faces additional charges for failing to appear in court — and potentially prison time.
