Mum Jailed for Brutal Attack on Daughter in Telford
Sarah Ngaba, 27, from Briarwood, Telford, has been slammed with a 14-year prison sentence. She must serve at least nine years and eight months behind bars for a shocking assault on her child in Brookside, Telford, back in November 2019.
Child Left With Life-Changing Injuries
The youngster suffered devastating, life-altering injuries from the attack. Detective Inspector Jo Whitehead, from Telford’s vulnerability team, condemned Ngaba’s actions as nothing short of horrific.
“This is a significant custodial sentence for such an incredibly distressing case,” said DI Whitehead.
“Ngaba displayed the total opposite behaviour to that which would be expected of a caring mother. Her horrific actions have resulted in her daughter’s future quality of life sadly being permanently diminished.”
