Zara Jade Sentenced for Brutal Attack on Partner
Zara Jade, 54, was handed a hefty 12-year sentence today at Bradford Crown Court for a vicious attack last August. She stabbed her partner with a small knife, locked her up, and forced her to hand over her PIN to withdraw cash.
Shocking Details Emerge in Court
The court heard how Jade restrained the victim before making her go to a cash machine. The victim’s severe injuries were discovered during a nurse’s routine visit, which sparked police involvement.
Jade faced six charges and pleaded guilty. She was sentenced to nine years behind bars with an additional three years on license. An indefinite restraining order now bars her from contacting her victim.
Police Praise Victim’s Courage
