Woman Jailed for Brutal Abuse of Former Partner
A 33-year-old woman has been locked up after subjecting her former partner to a campaign of vicious violence. Coelle Holly Beaupierre, from Ilford, was convicted at Croydon Crown Court for multiple assaults causing Actual Bodily Harm (ABH) spanning several years.
20 Months Behind Bars for Relentless Abuse
Beaupierre was sentenced to 20 months immediate imprisonment and slapped with a restraining order. The victim, aged 31, kept silent for years out of fear for her safety.
Horrific Attack Leads to Daring Escape
In February 2019, Beaupierre savagely attacked her partner in their Mitcham home, accusing her of infidelity. The victim suffered repeated beatings leaving bruises, cuts, and a massive footprint-shaped mark from being stamped on her leg.
Fleeing for her life, the woman jumped from a second-floor window and ran to a nearby pub, covered in blood. The pub landlord quickly called police, reporting the terrifying scene.
Historic Abuse Uncovered During Police Probe
Police investigations revealed earlier assaults, including a 2016 incident in Wallington where Beaupierre broke her ex’s nose with a punch. The victim needed surgery and wore a cast for six weeks.
Beaupierre was arrested on February 13, 2019. She refused to answer questions during her police interview.
This case highlights the harrowing reality of domestic abuse and the courage it takes to finally come forward.
