Crocker picked up the two women in his car, and the trio spent the evening bar-hopping around Tunbridge Wells. By 2am, the victim felt drunk and unwell. Crocker drove them home.
Once at the victim’s flat, Crocker sexually assaulted her. He then left the scene, while the victim bravely contacted the police.
Justice Served: Crocker Jailed for 2.5 Years
Arrested on 2 October 2017, Crocker denied the charges but was convicted on 21 January 2022 after a three-day trial.
On 30 March, Maidstone Crown Court handed down a 2 years 6 months prison sentence to the 30-year-old from Staplehurst.
“This was a distressing ordeal for a young woman whose trust was betrayed in an appalling manner,” said Detective Constable Celia King.
“Crocker has not shown any remorse for his actions and a prison sentence is entirely appropriate.”
“I would like to commend the victim who has courageously assisted us to bring this offender to justice.”
