Second Man Charged Over Mitcham Murder
Detectives have hauled in a second suspect over the shocking murder of Loeike Guei in Mitcham.
Aaron Williams in Custody
Aaron Williams, 28, from Warwick Gardens, Thornton Heath, Croydon, was arrested on Friday, 25 September. In the early hours of Sunday, 27 September, he was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. Williams remains behind bars and is due in Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 28 September.
Another Man Already Remanded
Earlier, Raphael Kokkinos, 33, of Polworth Road, SW16, appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 25 September. He has been remanded to face trial at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 29 September.
Victim Found in Mitcham
Loeike Guei, 23, from Thornton Heath, was tragically discovered dead on Commonside East, Mitcham, on Thursday, 17 September.
The ongoing murder probe is led by homicide detectives from Specialist Crime, who are determined to bring those responsible to justice.
