Suspicious Blaze Rips Through Ramsgate Home – Police Hunt Witnesses

Detectives are on the lookout for witnesses after a suspicious house fire ripped through a property in Ramsgate.

Blaze Hits Wheatley Road at Dawn

At 2.34am on Thursday 29 October, Kent Police received reports of a blazing house on Wheatley Road. Firefighters from the Kent Fire and Rescue Service tackled the flames that caused significant damage to the property. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Woman Arrested, Now on Bail

A 34-year-old Ramsgate woman was arrested in connection with the fire. She has since been released on bail until 20 November.

Police Urge Public to Speak Up

Officers are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious or has information about the blaze to get in touch. Call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting crime reference 46/193668/20.
