Man Arrested Over Brutal Ashford Assault

Kent Police have arrested a man following a vicious attack in Ashford that left a victim badly injured.

Blow from Behind in Late-Night Attack

The incident happened around 10:30pm on Saturday, September 28, after a man in his thirties left a pub on Mead Road, Willesborough. He was suddenly assaulted from behind by another man, suffering broken bones and severe facial injuries.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital for urgent treatment.

26-Year-Old Arrested and Released on Bail

Police swooped on Tuesday, October 1, arresting a 26-year-old Ashford man on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw the attack or has CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage to get in touch immediately.
