Glasgow Man Charged After Tragic Death of Joseph McGready
A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the heartbreaking death of 47-year-old Joseph McGready in Glasgow.
Serious Incident in Braid Square
Mr McGready was found badly injured at a home in Braid Square just after midnight on Saturday, September 30, 2023. Despite being rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, he sadly died from his injuries on Monday, October 2.
Two Arrested in Ongoing Investigation
A 47-year-old woman was earlier arrested and charged with attempted murder. She appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on the same day as McGready’s death. The 27-year-old man is set to appear at the same court on Wednesday, October 4.
Detective Inspector Sandy MacKinnon said, “Our thoughts are with Joseph’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
