Bus Crashes into Manchester Shop – Woman in Life-Threatening Condition
A shocking smash-up unfolded today around 1pm in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, when a bus careered into a shop, leaving 12 people injured, including one woman fighting for her life.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Paramedics and police arrived quickly at the chaotic scene. Twelve victims were treated for injuries. Most are stable with minor wounds, but one woman remains in critical condition receiving urgent hospital care.
Bus Driver Arrested on Dangerous Driving Charges
The 64-year-old bus driver was arrested by Greater Manchester Police, suspected of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now probing the crash.
