£8,000 E-Bike Stolen in Herne Bay – Suspect Nabbed in Hoo

Police have charged a man following the theft of a high-value e-bike in Herne Bay. The top-of-the-range e-bike, worth £8,000, was stolen from a Herne Common shop at around 1:20pm on Thursday, 10 March 2022.

Police Snatch Suspect After Traffic Stop in Hoo

Officers tracked the crime to a vehicle on Chapel Road, Hoo, stopping it at about 10:30am on Tuesday, 22 March. The driver was arrested on the spot, facing charges for both the e-bike theft and cannabis possession.

Billy Johnson Charged – Due in Court Soon

Billy Johnson, 39, from Sturdy Toad, Peckham, was charged with the offences. He is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 13 April 2022, for his plea.
