Abuse Spanned Seven Years Across Chester and Saltney Ferry

The pair’s sickening crimes took place between 2008 and 2015, during a chilling decade-long trial at Chester Crown Court that concluded on November 10, 2020.

Judge Everett branded Blake a “sexual monster” with “deviant sexual desires” who preyed on vulnerable children, calling him a “high risk” to kids everywhere. The judge said Blake’s actions had “ruined the lives of the three witnesses.”

Jones, though influenced by Blake, “encouraged the children to take part” in the vile acts, the judge added.

Detective Praises Victims’ Bravery Amid Shocking Details

This case relied upon the bravery of three young women who had the courage to come forward with the sole purpose of protecting other children,” said Detective Constable Jessica Barlow of Cheshire Constabulary Crime Operations Unit.

“What Blake and Jones did is truly horrifying. They systematically abused these girls over years to satisfy their own twisted desires.

“Jones may not have been involved in all offences but was complicit and aware of Blake’s actions. They forced their victims through a painful trial, causing distress, but thanks to these brave women, justice has been served.”

Detective Barlow hopes the victims can “feel empowered” and begin to heal now their voices have been heard.
