Lucky Escape for Kids After Bus Crash in Wroxall

Fifty children walked away unscathed after their brand new Southern Vectis double-decker bus was rear-ended this afternoon. The crash happened on St John’s Road in Wroxall when a Toyota Yaris smashed into the back of the bus.

New Bus, Minor Crash

The route three bus, packed with children, suffered damage to its rear quarter but thankfully no one was hurt. A Southern Vectis spokesman confirmed the collision was minor and involved one of their vehicles.

Police Attend but No Further Action

Officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police quickly arrived at the scene. However, no further action was taken, and the incident is now being handled by the third parties involved.
