Kids Walk Away Unscathed After New Double-Decker Bus Smashes Into in Wroxall

Fifty children aboard a brand-new Southern Vectis double-decker bus escaped injury after the vehicle was rear-ended this afternoon. The minor collision happened on St John’s Road, Wroxall.

Rear-end shunt shakes up bus full of schoolkids

A Toyota Yaris crashed into the back quarter of the bus, causing damage but no injuries. Southern Vectis confirmed one of their vehicles was involved in the incident and suffered rear-end damage.

Police attend but no further action

Officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police attended the scene. They have confirmed no further action will be taken. The matter is now being handled privately by the parties involved.
