Sex Offender Jack Wesley Locked Up Again for Breaching Court Orders
Jack Wesley, 35, a convicted sex offender with a history of grooming young boys, has been jailed again after flouting court-ordered restrictions. The predator, who recently moved to Bertelli Place in 123.
Recent Breaches and Narrow Jail Escape
In June 2024, Wesley narrowly avoided jail after breaching a court order by befriending a 14-year-old boy at a local food bank. He discussed the boy’s sexuality during a video call, which was reported to police by a relative who caught the inappropriate contact. Despite the breach, a judge gave Wesley a chance, citing his role as carer for his seriously ill mother.
New Charges and Latest Sentence
Wesley didn’t learn his lesson. On Thursday, he admitted failing to notify authorities about opening a new bank account — a serious breach of sex offender register rules. Although he initially pleaded not guilty, he changed his plea on trial day. Other charges, including unsupervised contact with a minor and failing to report a change of address, were dropped.
Known also by the aliases Robert Bailey and Shaun Williams, Wesley will serve 10 weeks behind bars while being closely monitored to prevent further harm to the public.
