Man Arrested After Brutal Head Injury Near QPR Match

A 26-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, November 21, on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in police custody. The dramatic incident unfolded just hours after the Championship clash between QPR and Luton Town.

Serious Head Injury Near Match Venue

At around 9:50pm on Friday, November 19, officers on patrol near Uxbridge Road, close to Devonport Road in W12, found a 52-year-old man from Luton suffering a serious head injury.

The victim was rushed to hospital by the London Ambulance Service and remains in a life-threatening condition. His family has been informed.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage

Detectives from the Met’s Central West Command Unit are investigating the attack. They are appealing to anyone who saw any disorder after the match or witnessed the assault to come forward.
