Four Charged with Murder Over Gurinderjit Rai’s Shocking Death in Corhampton
Detectives have slammed cuffs on four men in connection with the murder of Gurinderjit Rai. His body was discovered inside a car on Shepherds Farm Lane, Corhampton, on Saturday 13 July 2019.
Seven Men Re-Arrested in Dramatic Twist
Earlier this week, on Tuesday 7 July, police re-arrested seven men as part of the ongoing murder probe. The investigation is ramping up as detectives dig deeper.
Four Men Charged and Set to Face Court
On Wednesday 8 July, the following men were charged with murder and remanded into custody:
- Aston Hannis, 29, Leah Gardens, Eastleigh
- Corin Barlow, 40, Lumley Road, Horley, Surrey
- Charlie Statham, 30, Crescent Close, Winchester
- Paul White, 26, Dyson Drive, Winchester
They are due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 9 July.
Three Others Released But Investigation Continues
Meanwhile, three other men – aged 32 from Climping, West Sussex; 32 from Winchester; and 42 from Owslebury – have been released without charge. However, they remain under investigation as police follow every lead.
