Top Cop Praises Police Operation
Temporary Chief Superintendent Nigel Lecointe hailed the arrest as “great policing” by Portsmouth’s Neighbourhood High Harm Team, backing Operation Monument’s crackdown on drug supply.
“Tackling county lines and its consequences are a national law enforcement priority. The National Crime Agency, Hampshire Constabulary and other forces, alongside partners, are working hard to target the worst offenders,” Lecointe said.
“By removing key players, we disrupt the entire criminal network and stop more crimes happening.”
