Late-Night Brawl in Ramsgate Lands Four Men in Custody
Kent Police were called to a fight at a fast-food joint on King Street just after 2am on Saturday, 25 March 2023. The chaos came on the back of an earlier scuffle in Harbour Street the same evening.
Four Men Arrested, Two Hospitalised
Four men from Ramsgate were detained that night. Two required hospital treatment but have since been released into police custody.
Serious Charges for Young Men from Ramsgate
- Finley Goldsmith, 19, of Park Road, charged with affray and grievous bodily harm.
- Samuel Giles, 21, of Bradley Road, faces affray, grievous bodily harm, and possession of an offensive weapon charges.
- Alfie Mason, 19, of Queensgate Road, charged with affray and grievous bodily harm.
- Jack Bamford, 21, no fixed address, hit with multiple charges including possession of an offensive weapon, grievous bodily harm, and affray.
Bamford Faces Additional Robbery and Assault Charges
Jack Bamford is also charged with robbery, grievous bodily harm with intent, and possession of a knife in public. These relate to a separate incident on Friday, 24 March in Margate Road, Ramsgate, where a taxi driver was assaulted.
All four men remain in custody awaiting their appearance at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 March 2023.
