Ramsgate Brawl: Four Men Arrested After Early Morning Fight
Late-Night Clash at Fast-Food Spot
Kent Police rushed to a scuffle at a fast-food joint on King Street shortly after 2am on Saturday, 25 March 2023. The violent melee followed an earlier altercation in Harbour Street the same evening.
Four Arrested, Two Hurt
Officers detained four men from Ramsgate that night. Two required hospital treatment but were released and taken into custody. The suspects face serious charges.
Serious Charges Laid
- Finley Goldsmith, 19, Park Road – charged with affray and grievous bodily harm (GBH).
- Samuel Giles, 21, Bradley Road – charged with affray, GBH, and possession of an offensive weapon.
- Alfie Mason, 19, Queensgate Road – charged with affray and GBH.
- Jack Bamford, 21, no fixed address – charged with possession of an offensive weapon, GBH, affray, plus multiple offences from unrelated incidents.
Bamford Linked to Separate Robbery and Assault
Mr Bamford also faces charges for robbery, grievous bodily harm with intent, and carrying a knife in public. These relate to a Friday, 24 March incident on Margate Road where a taxi driver was reportedly attacked.
Next Steps
All four men have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 27 March 2023.
